We are proud to announce new, comprehensive options for our clients who use QuickBooks to keep their books and run their businesses.

Over the past few years, we’ve noticed certain things that keep businesses from using their QuickBooks files in ways that are efficient and that provide valuable information to run their business. In order to be of better value, we are introducing more comprehensive QuickBooks support options. Depending on your needs, we can develop customized proposals that best fit your situation.

Our service package will provide more accuracy in your QuickBooks data, enable you to be more efficient in your use of the program, and provide you with the competency needed to run a successful business.

So, what’s different? For starters, we’ve developed better ways of accessing your QuickBooks data. We have options such as hosted, online QuickBooks. This means we can both access your QuickBooks company data anytime, and at the same time you are in the program. This allows for live troubleshooting and easier monthly or quarterly reconciliations. It also allows you to access your data from anywhere you have an internet connection. This is our preferred method for accessing your data.

We can also access your data via a program called LogMeIn. By using this program we can access your data that resides on your local PC. Although this can be a good option, we can’t access your data at the same time you are using your PC and would require careful scheduling of convenient access times.

The last option is our portal option, where you upload your QuickBooks data file to our secure web portal, we work on the data, and then we either send back the working file through the portal or we send changes back in the form of “Accountant’s Changes” that you import into your live QuickBooks data file.

We have also carefully crafted more formal processes and guidelines for you to follow. If you’re like most of our clients, bookkeeping and QuickBooks is not your strong suit. We realized, without processes to follow, how do our clients know what to do?

That’s why we developed our “QuickBooks Rules”, a set of guidelines for you to use in the daily maintenance of your data. This will help organize the data, organize your processes, and alleviate the frustration you invariably feel when not quite sure how to handle certain transactions.

We don’t stop there. Once we’ve reviewed your data, we will provide feedback each time. We call this RRR – Review, Revise, Report. We’ll let you know what we did. We’ll tell you things you should be doing differently. We may provide QuickBooks tips and shortcuts to make your job easier. We’ll provide tax planning ideas.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Since each client has different needs, we can provide you a free, customized proposal. All you need to do is ask. We’ll show you the cost differences between hosted and non-hosted plans. We’ll show you which services are included. All of our plans will be fixed-fee agreements, payable by ACH draft on the 5th of each month. There is also a year-end fee due on December 5th which covers final year end tax planning and projections, preparing the data for a year-end closing, preparing for issuance of 1099’s if needed, and will cover your corporate and personal income tax returns.

WHAT IS A HOSTED QUICKBOOKS SERVICE?

With a hosted QuickBooks service, the QuickBooks program and your company’s data reside on a secure server that we both can access. WHAT VERSION OF QUICKBOOKS DO I NEED?

We ask that you be on at least QuickBooks 2007. We will support all versions of QuickBooks 2007 through 2009.

DO I NEED QUICKBOOKS?

Yes. If you utilize our hosting plan, you will need to provide our hosting service your QuickBooks license number. However there is a leasing option available if you don’t want to purchase or upgrade. For $7.50 per month, you can lease a QuickBooks license. This option will also always keep you updated with the latest version of QuickBooks.
